We are home of the AGE-ONE DENTAL VISIT!

Yes, the recommended age for that first visit to a dentist is by “FIRST TOOTH or FIRST BIRTHDAY”!

  • Regular Exams and Cleanings: Routine visits are vital to keeping your child’s teeth and gums healthy. During first visits to us and at regular check-ups, we not only clean the teeth but also check for early signs of any dental concerns, such as tooth decay, missing or crowded teeth, teeth with enamel defects and more. Catching issues early on, can allow us to intervene with early treatment, if needed, to allow for the best oral health outcome.
  • Dental Sealants: Sealants are an easy, effective way to protect the grooves on your child’s “6-year molars” from decay.  Sealants are applied as a white or clear liquid and forms a shield over the enamel to blocking out food particles and plaque.
  • Fluoride Treatments: Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen tooth enamel and fight tooth decay. Our fluoride treatments are tailored to each child’s needs and are an excellent way to help prevent cavities. Standard Fluoride is applied to the teeth either as a “varnish” or a “foam”. Silver Diamine Fluoride is one type of fluoride application we do to help slow or stop the progression of a cavity already forming on the tooth.
  • Nutritional Counseling: Good nutrition is fundamental to good dental health. We provide counseling on healthy food choices that promote strong teeth and gums and discuss foods and habits that should be avoided to prevent dental problems.
  • Education and Instruction: We take the time to teach both children and parents about effective oral hygiene practices, including proper brushing and flossing techniques. Our goal is to make dental care a fun and engaging part of your child’s daily routine.
  • Orthodontic Evaluations: As part of regular check-ups, our providers do ortho consultations to evaluate for crowding, or the need for braces, or other orthodontic concerns. We also accept referrals from orthodontic offices for coordination of extractions treatment as needed.
